Attendance and Make-up Labs

Attendance is mandatory. Students may make up no more than two lab sessions. Each student must complete every experiment and submit every lab report in order to pass the course.

Late Assignments

Lab reports are due by the next scheduled lab class. A penalty of 1 point is deducted for each 24-hour period of late submission.

Academic Honesty and Plagiarism

Lab reports must be written individually. Copying text, figures, calculations, or explanations from another student is not allowed. Students in the same lab group may use shared raw data, but each student must prepare and explain their own report independently.

AI and Technology Use

Students may use appropriate technology for calculations, graphing, equation editing, and formatting. Any use of AI tools must not replace the student’s own analysis, reasoning, calculations, or writing. Students should follow instructor guidance for any assignment-specific technology rules.

Accommodations

Students who need accommodations should contact the appropriate campus accessibility office and notify the instructor as early as possible so that approved accommodations can be supported.
